Ditch the details—this one-day, in-person landscape painting workshop is all about capturing energy, movement, and mood. Set in the stunning Yorkshire Dales near Skipton, we’ll head outside and paint on site, using fast, physical mark-making to respond to the landscape around us.

Through gesture sketches, intuitive layering, and experimental techniques, you’ll create a large-format piece that reflects your emotional connection to the land—not just what you see, but what you feel.

Anyone who wants to loosen up, let go of realism, and connect with landscape painting in a more physical, expressive way. Expect wind, weather, and wild marks.

Workshop details:

Location: Beautiful countryside studio + outdoor painting spots near Skipton, in the Yorkshire Dales
Duration: One-day workshop
Time: 10am – 4pm (with breaks for lunch + brews)
Tutor: Francesca Salvini – painter, art-jammer, landscape obsessive

 Level: All welcome – from brave beginners to bold brushers
