Step away from realism and precision, and dive into the expressive, playful side of still life painting. This one-day in-person workshop, set in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales near Skipton, is designed to shake off the stiffness and invite curiosity, movement and joy back into your practice.

You’ll loosen up with blind contour drawing, explore unexpected colour choices, and learn to paint the space between objects—not just the objects themselves. Expect bold marks, loose energy, and a focus on process over perfection.

Time: 10am – 4pm (with breaks for lunch - always time for tea and coffee!)
