A pair of original paintings created in response to the Cornish coastline around Wheal Coates, St Agnes.

The two works will be created as individual paintings that belong together, exploring the relationship between land, sea, changing light and weather. Designed to sit either side of the existing mirror, each will have its own character while carrying a sense of the landscape continuing between them.

One painting will hold more of the land and a subtle trace of the engine house, while the second will open into more sea, sky and distance.

Commission payment

This listing is for the 50% deposit of £550 to begin the commission.

The remaining £550 will be payable once the paintings are complete.

Framing will be agreed separately once the finished paintings can be considered in the room.
