Who is Wild Art For?
Wild Art is for anyone who wants to reconnect with their creativity.
You don't need to be artistic. You don't need experience. You don't even need to have picked up a paintbrush since school.
These sessions are designed for curious people who enjoy making, exploring and trying something new.
Some participants come because they want to develop their creative practice. Others simply want a few hours away from screens, responsibilities and everyday routines.
You might enjoy Wild Art if:
- You used to love making things but haven't found time for years.
- You're looking for a creative outlet without pressure or judgement.
- You enjoy nature, colour, texture and working with your hands.
- You're interested in art but don't know where to start.
- You already make art and want fresh ideas and inspiration.
- You'd like to meet other creative people in a relaxed and welcoming environment.
- There are no rules, no expectations and no right way to take part.
Just curiosity, experimentation and the freedom to create.
WILD ART WORKSHOPS FAQs
1. Do they need to be good at art?
Not
at all.
These
sessions are about exploring, experimenting and making without worrying about
getting it right.
No
experience needed, just curiosity.
2. What do they need to bring?
Nothing
— everything is provided.
Just
send them in:
- clothes they can get messy
in - layers and waterproofs for being outdoors
3. Do parents need to stay?
No - you’re welcome to drop off and come back at the end.
4. What will they make?
Each child will create their own small piece to take home, sometimes we work towards a bigger piece over a number of weeks.
The focus isn’t on a “perfect” result, it’s about the process, the materials, and
building confidence in making.
5. What if the weather’s bad?
Sessions run outdoors where possible, but we’ll adapt depending on the conditions.
You’ll always be told in advance if anything changes.
6. How long are the sessions?
Often 1.5 hours, however session times are listed when booking.
They’re designed to feel relaxed and unhurried, enough time to get into it without
dragging on.
7. Where are thesessions held?
Holme Grown, Eastby. A working growing space with gardens, orchard and open landscape - the setting is part of the experience. Full details are shared after booking.
8. How many children are in each session?
Small groups of around 8–12.
This keeps it calm, focused, and gives everyone space to explore.
9. Can I book more than one session?
Yes - sessions are designed so children can come back and have a different
experience each time.
10. What’s your cancellation policy?
If you can’t make it, let me know at least 48 hours in advance and I’ll move your
booking to another date.
Because spaces are limited, I’m not able to offer refunds for late cancellations.
Behaviour
These are relaxed sessions, but we do ask that children are able to engage respectfully with the space, materials and others.
If a child is struggling to settle, we may ask for a parent to stay or collect early.
